Modern wall lights interior are always a good choice. They make a room look more interesting, and, if the room is small, they give it more focus and depth. Dimmers are something that are popular as it gives us control over exactly how bright we have our lighting.
Just as dimmers are popular, LED lightbulbs are also popular in wall lights. Can the two elements be combined, in other words can LED lightbulbs be dimmed in the same way as standard bulbs can? In the past, it was not possible to do so, as the technology simply wasn’t there. However, as new ideas and advances emerge, and as more people are working in the important field of lighting, there are now dimmable LED lightbulbs on the market. Not all LEDs can be dimmed, though, so you will need to do one of two things. Before installing the bulbs or a dimmer switch for your interior wall lights, either find LED bulbs that work in conjunction with a traditional dimmer switch; or source an LED compatible dimmer. What happens when an LED bulb is dimmed is that the lumen level is lowered, as opposed to the wattage of the light. This change means that the light becomes warmer, rather than of a lower brightness. It is an interesting ‘trick’ which certainly does make it look as though the light is being dimmed as a standard light would be. In the not too distant future, it is likely that all bulbs will be dimmed the way a standard bulb is.
