Sometimes it simply isn’t possible to match your new wall lights with your existing décor. For some, that’s the perfect excuse to redecorate the entire house, but that isn’t always practical for financial or time reasons. You may just not want to do it because you love your current interior design. Whatever the reason, when you decide to change your interior wall lights you may need to coordinate with your existing design rather than match it completely. The first thing that you need to look at is the metal or material that is used to make your wall light.
The core colour, whether that is gold, chrome, brass, glass, or bronze, is what you need to take into consideration when coordinating your colour schemes. Once you have decided on the colour, you will also need to consider the tone of the wall light. That means how bright or dark the colour is. There are many variations in gold or bronze, for example – they aren’t all the same. Just a few tones lighter or darker can make a big difference to the final look of your home. Finally take a look at the finish. Is it matte or polished? Brushed or satin? This can also affect the overall impression given by the lights – try and match the finish with other elements, fixtures and fittings within the room.
Designer wall lights interior or exterior are beautiful additions to any home. And at The Wall Lighting Company Ltd, you can find something to match or coordinate with the rest of your house. Contact us directly on 01580 712805 or email email@example.com if you have any questions and we'll help.
