Wall mounted lights interior are a wonderful way to breathe new life into your old rooms. Whether you have just moved in and want to put your own stamp on the property, or whether it is just time for a change, wall lights can offer that perfect change for you.
Some wall lights take LED bulbs and some take incandescent bulbs, and it is important to put the right bulb in the right interior wall lights. But what are the differences between these two types of bulb? It is mainly down to how they work. Incandescent bulbs create their light using a filament within the bulb itself. In fact, you will usually be able to see this filament, which is a length of thin wire. When power is applied to the bulb, the filament glows. This glow produces heat and eventually that heat produces light - although in fact, it is a quick process. In comparison, an LED bulb works using what is known as a cold process. Power is not applied to a filament, but is instead applied to a semiconductor. The semiconductor is usually made from arsenic, gallium, and phosphorus; which sounds somewhat alarming but is actually very safe as there are stringent control measures in place. The semiconductor is stimulated by the movement of electrons and this in turn creates photons. And what are photons? They are the light that can be seen by the human eye. Apart from how they work, LED bulbs last much longer than incandescent bulbs as well.
